THIS WEEKEND! The Theatre 3 students at Reeths-Puffer high school  are excited to present their fall play….Puffs!  It is the seven Harry Potter books and movies from house Hufflepuff point of view.  Puffs (house Hufflepuff kids) are all of the kids who struggle at school and they work really hard and try their best every day. Unfortunately, they are only average at mastering magic. It’s a story about these kinds of heroes.

Tickets can be purchased online HERE or at the door. Shows are Nov. 21, 22 and 23 at 7 pm and Nov. 23 at 2 pm. All seats are $8.

For a more in-depth synopsis, read on:

Puffs is the story of Wayne Hopkins:  a boy from New Mexico who is neither brave, smart, nor a snake — who finds out he’s a wizard. Upon arrival at a certain school of magic and magic, he’s placed into the Puffs: a group of well meaning, loyal misfits. Over the next seven years, he’ll try to learn magic; try not to have his life ruined by his four-eyed nemesis; and try to not to get hurt in what is actually a very dangerous place for unsupervised children to be. Sometimes he will succeed. Partially.  No matter your relationship to the Harry Potter series, there is something here for you. Puffs is essentially a romp through this world of wizards. Familiar characters pop in and out, but audiences see a different side of key moments. Timelines always match up and you get new lessons and deep-cut wizard jokes.
