NEW! Pop Notes for Tonight!
-The procedure, beginning tonight is:
-Go to your assigned dressing rooms (see below). All dressing rooms will be labeled with signs beginning tonight as well, and all windows will be covered.
-Wait until you are called to the stage by Mrs. Twining or I.
-You are not able to watch the show or be in the auditorium seating area.
You need to get used to how long you have to make your costume changes and also get used to being called. We need the practice of finding and calling each act to the stage !
-Singers, please arrive by 5:30 pm tonight and meet in the lobby. We will check you in there. We will be recording “Come Alive” and “Don’t Stop Me Now”
-Room etiquette is critical! Look at rooms upon entry. Make note of the set up. Do not change the set up in the Band or Orchestra rooms at all. Leave the rooms exactly as you found them. Bring home all costumes tonight (you can leave them tomorrow night into Saturday). Pick up ALL trash. Keep things VERY neat! Remember snack foods only. No meals, no fast food, no pizza, etc.

REMINDER: You have probably heard this over and over: Today, America has become so divided. After a year like this one with tragic events after another, after issues rising, and after social injustices spreading, it is easy to feel alone and isolated. We are all stronger together. Let’s all band together to not only support each other, but to show that as citizens and people, we do not tolerate injustices and inequality any longer. We are no longer isolated and our voices will be heard. We will band together for one another.
Hi! I’m Lauryn Jackson and I am a senior in the class of 2021. I am passionate about music as well as activism. I am hoping to hold a protest this summer focused on racial inequality and injustices. For this, I will need to raise at least $500 to rent out Hackley park and its stage, as well as other things like sound equipment and snacks and water; I also need minority speakers to speak or even perform at the event, and recommendations for renting sound equipment. My personal email is L.firstname.lastname@example.org and the place to donate for now is below.
Venmo: Coming soon!
(Look I’m trying- it might take a bit)
Even if you cannot contribute now, please send me any ideas, period, or just attend the event itself. Thank you for supporting!
