REMINDER!! Set Help Needed: The Bye Bye Birdie Set Build and Tech Schedule has been posted under pages on the right of this blog. The build times for THIS week are as follows: (Allegros, remember that you have to put in 5 hours of set time. Choir students receive 2 points per hour of work as well!)

NEW!! The middle school musical, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” opens this week Thursday and will also play on Friday and Saturday nights. Cost is $6. The show is in the middle school auditorium and it starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the door. It is a really good show!!!

Solo and Ensemble Festival is this Saturday. Make sure you check out the updated schedule on the wall. Some times (including Chamber Choir) have changed.
LAST DAY!! Lost and found. Mr. Snell has been cleaning (THANK YOU!!). We have found a number of things, including old plates, containers (from the fall meeting), left over clothing from events like Allegretto Notte, etc. Claim it soon or we will be giving it away!
NEW!! Tickets are now available. They are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Checks can be made payable to, â€œMona Shores Choirâ€. Tickets can be purchased in the choir office (Rm. 203) or at Meyer Music and Pic-N-Pac.
UPDATED!! Collage rehearsal will be on the 1/2 day, Friday, February 8th. The school day ends at 10:40am that day and rehearsal will be following. We will begin at 10:50am with â€œO Fortunaâ€ and then go through the remainder of the program, beginning with Act 2.
The Collage Concert is coming up quickly. The date is Sunday, February 10th at 3pm in the MSHS Performing Arts Center (PAC). This is a really unique concert that features not only all of our choir students but the top performers in the choir, band and orchestra, chosen by audition. Their is no applause between numbers as the we move swiftly from one number to the next.

OTHER THINGS WE DID DURING OUR LAST REHEARSAL TOGETHER:
As usual, we began the day with a series of warm-ups followed by a sight-singing exercise. We have 21 different days of warm-ups (4 different warm-ups each day) and each of the choirs is singing from a different level of difficulty sight reading book.
